Katie and I planned a photo session at her home on the lifestyle block with one thing in mind - make it easy and organic. She asked to be less involved in the images, really wanting great photos of just the kids so I made sure they were the main focus. It was such a wet, rainy day in the Waikato but we wanted to make the most of the outdoors so we got the kids rugged up and headed out. They didn't mind the rain at all especially given there were icecreams involved. The images we got were so candid and unique to this family and respresent a typical day at home with the animals. I adore these photos capturing this families little corner of the world.
