No family is too big or too small for one of these sessions, they are designed to capture your family as you see it. Just bear in mind the larger the family, the less images you'll get of individuals and more intimate moments - which may suit you just fine!

I have many years of experience with photographing children and have even spent some time in my younger years as a kindergarten teacher - so I get it. The goal is not to "behave" but rather embrace their personality. I have a few tricks up my sleeve but also I ensure the sessions are very child-led as there's nothing worse than seeing a forced smile on children. I find they will always warm up and we're guarenteed to get a couple of those amazing shots no matter how unruly they seem at the time.

Anytime is the best time! Capturing your family as they are right now will always be something you'll be forever grateful you did. Some of my client's book me in yearly so they can track milestones, others it's something they want to do occasionally - there's no right or wrong answer.

I have a guide that I will send you once you book in with me that gives you some ideas on what to wear to get the best images. I can give as little or as much wardrobe assistance as you would like! It's important you're wearing something you're comfortable in, as you want to look at these photos and feel like they represent you and your whanau, not in something you would never wear again.

Don't worry about your house looking a certain way, as long as there's a couch and a bed and some natural light we can use I can assure you we will get nice images. There's something really special about capturing your family home as it is now, as you will look back in decades to come with nostalgia - regardless of how it looked. Also don't worry about having to tidy the whole place, we usually only use a couple of spots for these sessions and all is explained in the guide I send once you book.

This is something we can work out together depending on the wants and needs of your family. I can photograph beautiful images in any light and any weather settings (maybe with the exception of a gail-force southerly on the south coast).

It's a really good idea to get in touch with me as soon as possible to book in your maternity session (beginning of second trimester is ideal) so you don't miss out on a spot.

It's best to have your maternity session between 30 - 36 weeks as you'll usually have a great bump by that stage but not be too close to going into labour early and missing out.

Yes I do! I frequently visit Hamilton as my family is based there, so the same prices apply to the Waikato region available for outdoor and in-home sessions.

I have roughly 6 locations around Wellington region that I offer for outdoor shoots depending on your vibe and accessibility. In Waikato I offer maternity sessions in Raglan. When you enquire about a session we can talk through which is best suited in more detail or if you have somewhere specific in mind.

Absolutely! In home sessions are no extra charge if you live within 1 hour of Wellington CBD. I also offer sessions in Waikato at no extra charge as I often frequent there to visit family.

Of course they can! You can include your immediate family (partner and other kids) free of charge.

I recommend booking in your Newborn session at the beginning of your second trimester so you're guarenteed a spot. The session date will be based around your estimated due date but I will always get in touch with you close to the time to see how things are tracking.

Within the first 2-4 weeks is the ideal window where it's possible for you. This is because babies are a lot sleepier and easier to get those photos. I keep my calendar flexible with time of day for these sessions until very close to the time as you have no idea what the best time of day for you is until you're in it!
Once baby is over 8 weeks, its best to book in one of my family sessions instead as baby will be a lot more active and we wont be getting sleepy photos.

Your Mum may have hand-knitted the most beautiful blanket, or theres a sentimental family teddy-bear that you really want to make sure is photographed. These can definitely be included in the session, just let me know! I will make sure to get some netural images as well as anything that is specifically really important to you. I don't include props in my photographs (no wicker baskets or flowerpots).

No I dont. Before our session I make sure to get your consent for images used in my social media or website advertising. Of course I want to show off your beautiful images! However I understand this isn't for everyone and your privacy is my priority.

Having twins is an incredible thing but lets face it, there are a lot of things you have to buy twice! You won't find that here though. I don't charge any extra if you are expecting a second (or even third) beautiful soul in your life.
