All family sessions are available NZ-wide and thoughtfully tailored to your family’s personality and pace.
From the first email to the final artwork installed in your home, this is a guided, considered experience, not just a photo session.
Every session includes:
- Your choice of medium: film or digital photography
- A pre-session questionnaire to understand your family and what matters most to you
- A thoughtfully designed welcome guide to help you feel prepared and confident you'll get images you love
- Professional guidance on ideal locations, light and timing
- Styling support so you look and feel like your best selves
- A personalised online gallery to view your curated images
Why film and why print
Film photography has depth, softness and permanence. It captures colour, emotion and light in it's truest form, and images like that deserve to be enjoyed beyond the screen. In a world of digital oversaturation and thousands of photos sitting unseen on camera rolls, I offer collections intentionally built around tangible artwork, with digital copies included so you can share and archive with ease. You won’t be handed hundreds of files and left to decide what to do with them. Instead, you’ll receive a curated gallery and gentle guidance in choosing pieces that truly suit your home and how you live. Family photography is meant to be experienced beyond the day. Framed. Held. Turned into pages. Passed down.
The Investment
My packages are designed as a complete experience from planning your session, to photographing your family, through to creating printed artwork you can see, hold, and live with every day.
Collections with printed artwork ready to enjoy start from $1378 which are thoughtfully designed to include your photo session, a curated selection of digital images, and printed pieces such as wall art, albums, or matted prints so your images don’t just sit on a screen, but become part of your home.
This approach means everything is taken care of for you, start to finish, from how your images are captured to how they’re ultimately experienced.
While most families choose collections with printed artwork, digital-only collections are also available from $778.
You can also enhance your session with Super 8 film or polaroids, for a more immersive experience.
A $200 deposit secures your session date and is deducted from your final balance.
The process
I. PLAN
Enquire and tell me what you’re imagining for your session. We discuss pricing so nothing is a surprise and book in your session date.
You’ll receive a thoughtful questionnaire and welcome guide, and we’ll plan your location, timing and styling together. Everything is considered so that by the time your session arrives, you feel excited, calm and prepared.
II. The photo experience
On the day, you simply show up as you are. I gently guide you through a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere so you can stay present with your beautiful family. There’s no pressure to perform, just space to connect.
III. Preserve
Your private online gallery arrives, carefully curated. From there, we select your favourite images together and design artwork that suits your home and how you want to remember this season, whether that’s framed pieces, an album, a collection of matted prints, or digital copies.
This final step is where your photographs become part of your archives.
