White hydrangea flowers bloom abundantly on green bushes as someone admires them in a garden setting.

This is one of my favourite family photo-sessions to date. It was a very relaxed morning at home with Erza (1 month) and Freya (3 years) capturing the early details and rituals of this family introducing their newest member to the world. I really wanted to capture how loving Freya was with her baby brother and the beautiful colours this family surround themselves with through their clothing to their abundant garden. Mid-way through this session Freya thought it would be a good idea to have a fruit picnic which perfectly told the story of their current season.


I captured this family on a mix of 35mm film and digital photography to highlight the vibrance of their world.
